First day at the clinic
The initial consultation is a non-binding meeting and the first step in the process. The consultation is to clarify your situation and give you the opportunity to discuss possible diagnosis and infertility treatment options. Perhaps you have already made up your mind as to what treatment you would like and ready to start the actual treatment. We will discuss your infertility and any health issues that may have a potential effect on your fertility treatment.
Ultrasound scan of uterus and ovaries
Women will also have an ultrasound scan of their uterus and ovaries. Furthermore, we will provide an overview of the examinations that still need to be performed to obtain a full diagnosis, allowing us to start the proper course of treatment for you.
If you have undergone a previous course of treatment for infertility, it would be beneficial if you could provide copies of your medical records, stimulation schedules, and laboratory schedules describing egg development and your partner’s sperm quality if relevant. Please send these copies prior to your discussion, either by post or email.
Have you previously undergone fertility treatment?
If this is your first fertility treatment, we would kindly ask you to undergo an examination and send the test results for the relevant hormone tests (AMH, TSH and TPO) to us, and fill out the electronic journal which can be found on our website. This allows us to offer you the best possible treatment. Our fertility specialists will look at the test results and assess which treatment option is the right one for you. You will then be contacted by one of our secretaries.
